The Pulpwood Queen Receives More Photos on Getting Caught Reading!

Cousins, Brooke Bradley and Helaina Patrick got caught reading Celia Rivenbark's "Stop Dressing Your Six Year Old Like a Skank: A Slightly Tarnished Southern Belle's Words of Wisdom" at Beauty and the Book. Brooke informed me up next, "The Killing Storm" by Kathryn Casey!

With inspiration from the spirit of ELVIS, Toby Wilkerson was caught reading "The Pulpwood Queens' Tiara Wearing, Book Sharing Guide to Life", Large Print as he was doing research as working on creating a NEW Pulpwood Queen Board Game! All I know is he told me it involves the one in the lead with the most points for reading getting to wear a TIARA! Sounds like a winner to me!

Author, Christa Allen, sent me this photo of her cat reading her book, "Walking on Broken Glass" through osmosis! She may have underestimated the power of a reading kitty!

Last, this photo was sent to me by author, Karen Essex, who had a fan send this photo of her reading Karen's book, "Dracula in Love" in the bathroom. I know you are wondering, what in the world? But have you read this book? The bathroom seems like a safe place to read this Victorian erotic tale to me!

I seriously wanted to stay home but all my friends convinced me that Jay and I needed to support and to to the Literary Ball that's a fundraiser for the recently restored Jefferson Carnegie Library, which is one of only two left in the state. It's beautiful! So celebrating New Year's and supporting your local library, seems a given to The Pulpwood Queen!

Here's my daughter, Chloe, reading a Geronimo Stilton book. Her elementary school is having a favorite character day next Friday and all students are asked to dress as their favorite character - she'll be Geronimo Stilton, of course!

Just in from Pulpwood Queen Kimberley Cetron, a photo of her son caught reading with this caption from Kimberley:

One of my favorite reading pictures. August '09. He had only read maybe 5 out of 15 books but he stayed in that chair until he knocked out the rest. And had a ball doing it:)
